Welcome to the NBS Guestbook
Dear friends please sign our guestbook
James M ("Jim") Anderson
Thanks for inviting me yesterday. Looked for Nuts Bolts and Screws on Remote Hams; didn't see it. Also, is there a particular call sign for the net?

Thanks for the check in. Art was my first contact after getting my General on 5/1/2021. I was going through the frequencies when I heard the NET and decided to try to check in. I only had a temporary end fed antenna put up about 10' off the ground for
now and wasn't sure how well it was going to work. Hope to be on more. KN4VJB

Heard Mario getting ready for the net today. Had a great signal, so I stuck around for the net, but shortly after it started, the band changed and only heard one other check-in. Really like the rag-chew/help one another idea and the website looks great.
I'll be back! 73

Hi all,
Checked in this morning with a few of the guys after a long absence. Just want to let everyone know that I and another ham KB1PLC, Mark, have been listing and pricing all of the equipment owned by our friend Blair KC2DIA, who passed on in late September. We
have worked with his Mom Barbara and spend the last weekend there testing and gathering the huge amount of equipment that Blair had collected. I will post a list here of the items for sale and their prices. All the proceeds go to Barbara. Blair was a dear
friend and this is the least we can do to help out his Mom. Be back later with more news.
Mike

Tried to check in today, but apparently conditions getting out of Virginia weren't as good as the incoming conditions. Will try again another day.

I miss listening to the afternoon NBS net. I really enjoyed it. The photo shows my old van with different Hustler resonators. Each one interacted with the other and was very tricky trying to keep them tuned to the center area of interest. I used to run
QEP'S back in the 80's. Selling 9913 and other belden cables. I have been with Aeroflex for the psat 15 years. 73, Bill

You can now look up callsigns on Facebook. You just type in the call in the search bar and there you are, but only if you have a facebook account. Wonderful?!?!?!?!?!?
